For many years, debate has continued over the boundaries of social care and health care systems.

This division is significant because, under the public National Health
Service, the United Kingdom provides free health care services. On the
other hand, social care exists as a separate, primarily private system
that does not provide “free” services in the way that the National
Health Service does.

There is a simple reason for this division; providing free care to all

According to Douglas East Member of the House of Keys, Brenda Cannell, a recent proposal made by Health Minister, David Anderson would “dilute” the service currently offered to breast cancer patients of the Isle of Mann.

Health Minister, David Anderson has proposed to advertise for a post of general surgeon with an interest in breast care rather than a dedicated breast cancer specialist who would also be on-call during every one in four days for general surgical cover.

European Space Agency has released the first map created with the help of data from its CryoSat spacecraft, at the Paris Air Show.

The map has been created with data collected in January and February this year and shows the ice is thickest near the North Pole and near the coasts of Greenland and northeastern Canada but it thinner towards Alaska and Russia.

South Korean electronics giant, Samsung has launched a new Smart View app, which will allow users to watch TV content on their Samsung Galaxy S2.

The user is required to link up their Galaxy S2 to the Samsung Smart TV D7000 and D8000 series. The app will be available only for Galaxy S2 initially and will be available on Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Samsung Galaxy S later this year.
