Crisis in Greater Noida, Seeks Attention from Govt.

Crisis in Greater Noida, Seeks Attention from Govt.In land acquisition case in Greater Noida, more incidents of land being acquired under the emergency clause of the Land Acquisition Act were coming to lime light. The instances came forth, when more land owners joined the issue, after apex court upheld the judgment of Allahabad High Court.

It seems that ball is not in the real estate sector’s court and would not come soon. It has been said, that if real estate regulator would have been there, then consumers would not have to bear, what they are bearing now. It has been seven years in a row, when people asked for a special act to save investors in real estate.

The main objective of that special bill was to have a proper body which could ensure that consumers were looked after from builder and from the government.

Five years ago, a draft was made, which was meant to ascertain that real builder has responsibility towards their customers. The bill was divided in sections like-a proper method of advertisement was explained, that a builder has to adopt the manner in which advance payments have to be done and received, when builder would make apartments and much more for consumers as well. But due to absence of Real Estate Regulatory Authority bill, consumers were facing a hard time.

But it is a high time now for the government to wake up and do some reforms for the development of the state.
