The sister concern of the tech arm of the M&M Group Tech Mahindra, Mahindra Satyam has recently bagged contract from the UK-based GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) for another five years. Under the terms of the contract, the Regional Service Center (RSC) of Mahindra Satyam's BPO unit will be providing services like the creative logo, production and promotional graphic artwork services to the customer base of GSK across the globe.

It's been close to two years that FIAT made its India foray with the launch of the FIAT 500, but the product has just managed to sell 65 units in the Indian market.

Real Estate major, DLF has announced its fourth quarter financial results for the fiscal year 2009-10 and has managed to register an impressive net profit. The company has posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 426.4 crore for the quarter that ended in 31st March, 2010.

It was reported to be Rs 158 crore for the fourth quarter last year. This net profit figure has grown up by two-fold this quarter as compared to the same quarter in the preceding year.

US president Mr. Barack Obama is interested to pursue a fresh UN sanctions against Iran's nuclear deal despite of its deals with Brazil and Turkey. Mr. Obama has had a discussion with Recep Tayyip, the Turkish Prime Minister over phone and has said that the nuclear deal moves of Iran are not reliable at this point of time.

Both the Brazil and Turkey have informed earlier to the UN Security Council to pay attention towards the nuclear deal they were dealing with Iran. This deal was made to convert the trade uranium of Iran to enriched reactor fuel.

The mothers of the three US hikers being halted in Iran accused of espionage have landed in Teheran. All of the three mothers are expected to meet their children on today. They are very much tensed and want to talk to the Iranian officials for the release of the detainees.

Last July these three have crossed the boarder of Iraq. Then they were arrested and halted by Iranian police after entering the Iran border.

Diversified US manufacturer Honeywell International Inc has informed that it has reached a deal to buy Sperian Protection. Sperian is known to be the leading personal protection equipment maker in France. The deal has been finalized for $1.1 billion. Morris Township, New Jersey-based Honeywell has offered maximum bid for this purchase. Earlier French holding company Menelas has offered euro 70 per share in the month of March for the purchase of Sperian.
