London: Sienna Miller has thrilled fans by stripping off for a fruity film role.

The 25-year-old actress wore nothing except a garland of flowers in her hair while shooting scenes for her new movie ‘Hippie Hippie Shake,’ in a garden in West London’s trendy Notting Hill Gate.

“She sat on the grass with the flowers in the hair and danced on the grass waving her hands. She looked simply gorgeous,” The Sun quoted an onlooker, as saying.

Equities Open Strong: Sensex Nears Record High

The National Stock Exchange’s Nifty stood at 4568.5, higher by 39 points or 0.87 per cent from its last closure. The Bombay Stock Exchange’s Sensex gained 155 points at 15,769.43.

The major Sensex gainers were ICICI Bank (up 1.83%), Grasim Industries (1.4%), Satyam Computer (1.35%), Dr Reddy's Laboratories (1.32%), Reliance Energy (1.29%) and Tata Motors (1.24%).

Hindustan Unilever was down 0.33 per cent. It was the only laggard in the rally.

New Delhi: Dr Reddy’s Laboratories (DRL) has received final approval for its Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) for Ranitidine 150mg pill by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)

DRL is the only generic maker to get FDA authorization for this Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) product accompanying the expiry of innovator's patents.

According to a statement, the company will distribute the 150 mg potency in blister counts of 8 and 24’s plus bottles of 50, 65 and 95 counts.

Fortis Eyes More Stakes In Malar Group

New Delhi-based Fortis group is ready to purchase stakes in Chennai-based Malar Hospitals Ltd.

The group has signed up an agreement with the Chennai-based Malar Hospitals promoters’ to buy 28 per cent of the holdings through International Hospital Ltd - a wholly owned subsidiary of Fortis Healthcare Ltd (FHL) - and Oscar Investments Ltd.

Fortis will also make an open public offer to take over 20 per cent stake from the public. The transaction will mount Fortis’ entry into south India.

Oil Closes Above $80 For First Time

After fluttering at the peak for a number of days, yesterday, the U.S. crude oil prices closed above $80 per barrel for the first time.

For next month delivery, sweet crude added up 18 cents to close at $80.09 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX).

The price had hit $80.15 during the session and $80.20 during the earlier electronic trading. But, it was the first closing in what one investor called unchartered territory.
