Pak Taliban brutally thrash teenage girl 34 times for venturing out without male companionIslamabad, Apr. 3 : The Taliban's writ cannot be challenged, as a two minute mobile video has shown.

A teenage girl was whipped continuously by some Taliban fighters for venturing out of her house without her male companion in Matta District located in the Swat Valley.

According to The Nation, the video showed two men holding the girl's arms and feet, while a third one thrashed her continuously.

"The Obama administration should not worry about the proper use of its aid," the Daily Times quoted Gilani, as saying.

Gilani said Pakistan has sacrificed much more than the US in the war on terror, and hence, Washington should stop questioning Islamabad's accountability.

Addressing a weekly briefing here, Foreign Office spokesman Abdul Basit emphasised the need that efforts should be made for the resumption of composite dialogue process, as it is the only way forward to resolve the bilateral issues, instead of giving statements in the media.
