Sonia Visiting South Africa To Brighten Political Relations
New Delhi: United Progressive Alliance (UPA) chairperson Sonia Gandhi will visit Johannesburg soon after this month to perk up political dealings with South Africa, earlier than the IBSA (India, Brazil and South Africa) summit meeting in October that will be attended by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and the Presidents of the other two countries.
At a gathering with Union Minister of State for Industry Ashwani Kumar, South African President Thabo Mbeki stated that he was looking forward to make discussions with Ms. Gandhi and with Dr. Singh.
