A plan to offer healthcare at the doorstep of villagers suffering from illnesses such as cancer and water-borne diseases was introduced by the Punjab administration on Saturday.

The state administration along with Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited made announcement about the 'Sanjeevan Swasthya Sewa' by flagging off 10 specially-designed healthcare vans from Mirjeana village adjoining the Haryana border.

Flydubai has commenced its initial flight to Iraq by flying to the city of Erbil, the capital of the Kurdish region.

The low cost airline made this declaration on Saturday.

The FZ201 aircraft finished a three-hour trip to Erbil on Friday after it lifted off from the Dubai International Airport.

Flydubai's chief commercial officer Hamad Obaidalla stated that stability is coming back to Iraq and mainly to the Kurdistan area, and this makes Erbil an important gateway into the country.
