Jindal Saw Q1 net profit up

Jindal-Saw-LtdLeading Steel pipemaker Jindal Saw Ltd. has announced its first quarter financial results for the fiscal year 2010.

According to the company officials, the net profit of the company has gone up while the margin has declined in this period under review. The company has managed to register an impressive net profit rise of 11%.

The company has posted a net profit of Rs 1.49 billion for the quarter that ended in 30th June, 2010. This has been informed by Jindal Saw in a filing at the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The Bank has posted a net profit of Rs 111.39 crore for the quarter that ended in 30th June, 2010. For the first quarter last year the bank has posted a net profit of Rs 82.19 crore.

Aventis Q2 net profit dips 10% to Rs 42 crore

Aventis-PharmaLeading pharmaceutical company Aventis Pharma has announced its second quarter financial results for the fiscal year 2010-11. The company has posted a net profit of Rs 42.4 crore for this quarter.  

As per the company officials there has been a decline of 9.97% in the net profit figure in this quarter under review as compared to the same quarter last year.

So far as the net sales of the firm are concerned, it has gone up to Rs 271.5 crore during the April-June period of fiscal year 2010. It has reported to be Rs 249.9 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.
