Kochi, June 12 : "The King and The Commissioner", billed as one of the biggest projects in the Malayalam film industry, has been creating a buzz because of the big names attached to it. But superstar Mammootty, who will start shooting for the film here Monday, is not so excited and says for him, it's just a job.

The film has been in the news because it has brought two big actors - Mammootty and Suresh Gopi - together as also it sees director Shaji Kailas collaborating with scriptwriter Renji Panicker after a gap of 16 years.

Mumbai, June 12 : Remembered as the quintessential baddie of the big screen, Sadashiv Amrapurkar is set to make his small screen debut with Zee TV's new show "Shobha Somnath Ki". The veteran actor feels that television has a strong future.

"TV serials are the future. They have come a long way and I feel that acting in a serial is one of the most difficult things," Amrapurkar told IANS.

New Delhi, June 12 : Grammy award winning singer T-Pain is set to enthrall his Indian fans with performances in three cities next week.

The singer will perform live in Mumbai, Delhi and Pune June 17, 18 and 19 respectively, as a part of Tuborg Vh1 Hip Hop Hustle show.

"I am really excited to come to India and meet my fans. I am aware that the hip hop culture in the country is really big and am looking forward to play in Mumbai, Delhi and Pune. I hope my fans are ready to party!" T-Pain said in a statement.

Some have been around for nearly 50 years, but they are still junior artists in the industry. The fact is the "extras" - as they are called - find themselves relegated to the shadows all their lives, with never enough money and certainly never fame.

There are more than 10,000 members registered with the Junior Artists Association in Mumbai, the home of the world's biggest film industry. Many junior artists say TV treats them worse than the film industry.

Jaipur, June 12 : He may have acted in some of small screen's best known shows, but actor Hiten Tejwani, who recently opened a multi-cuisine restaurant in Mumbai, says a career in acting is not enough to guarantee a secure future and one needs business backing as well.

"My idea of opening a restaurant was important. The whole point is that I couldn't have been totally dependent on acting for my income... even though I want to remain in the field of entertainment forever," Hiten told IANS here while shooting for Imagine TV's "Ratan Ka Rishta".

New Delhi, June 12 : She may be well over 60, but feels as young as 23! Veteran actress Simi Garewal is ready to quiz young and single celebrities like Ranbir Kapoor and Siddharth Mallya on her new show "India's Most Desirable" and says she is far from experiencing a generation gap.

"Genuinely, I feel I'm 23. What can I do about it? That's how I feel! I have never felt younger or older with anybody," Simi told IANS over phone from Mumbai.
