The chancellor announced in today's budget that the Government has will adopt TIGA's tax relief plan for UK game developers. This mean that the UK games industry has finally received tax breaks from the government.

The Industry Gaming Association (TIGA) has welcomed the decision of the government to introduce specific tax breaks for the games development sector.

According to the new tax plans, successful games will get to pay less tax on their incomes, while the games which are less popular will get a tax credit.

Savers in UK may get good news in general budget 2010. The Government has announced in today's budget that the annual Individual Savings Accounts (ISA) will increase automatically in line with inflation each year.

The ISA amount for each year is also raised from £7200 to £10200, of which £5100 can be held in cash. This means that savers can save more tax on the ISA tax saving plans.

Dr Jayant Patel has been accused of not taking a decision for a patient that was not necessary. A court has been told, Mervyn John Morris came back to theatre after seven days of a surgery to repair a burst wound.

Dr Emma Igras, who assisted Dr Patel in the surgery, told the Supreme Court in Brisbane on Thursday, that Morris was poking through the wound in his abdomen one week after Patel performed major surgery on May 23, 2003, to remove part of his colon.

Dr Igras informed that Morris’ two-thirds of the wound had burst open. This initiated replacement of staples and stabilisation of the surrounding tissue.
