It has been reported that thieves broke into a vehicle belonging to an Israeli police commissioner and stole his phone, but officials say it contained no sensitive numbers.

Ynetnews has reported that assailants smashed the windshield of Dudi Cohen's car parked in the central Israeli city of Givatayim Friday, but police say they doubt the thieves knew it was a police chief's vehicle.

Ynetnews also said that Cohen and his family were at home in a guarded apartment building when the car was broken into.

According to some news reports, a lawsuit brought by the father of an Albuquerque girl who was secretly videotaped by a substitute teacher has been settled for $50,000.

The Albuquerque Journal has reported that the money will be paid by the Albuquerque Public Schools and the former teacher, Robert Ashley. The payment was approved by a federal judge on Thursday.
