As a latest step towards technological innovation, Lenovo Group wants to make an individual stand for itself. The company has released what according to it is the first dual-screen notebook computer.

Lenovo, the world’s No. 4 personal computer maker is launching this new laptop this week at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.

It should be noted here that the demands for the notebooks have continued to show strength even when the overall PC demand has been hurt by the global economic slowdown.

On Wednesday, a digital media player with a built-in 500GB hard drive and support for HD video was introduced by Netgear.

The name of the Digital Entertainer Elite is EVA9150, which allows the user to watch videos, images and listen to music on their TV and stereo.

Furthermore, the users can also acquire access to Internet content, like YouTube, Internet radio, Flickr and RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds.

Good news for all those, who wanted to buy a new laptop but the higher price was acting as a constraint. Acer Aspire One, the world's largest selling netbook could be availed at an affordable price of Rs 14,499.

It has been announced by the company that it would sell the Aspire One netbook Linux version for just Rs 14,499 and the Windows XP Home version for Rs 16,499 in the Indian market.

However, it should be noted here that this offer is only for a limited period from 9th January to 20th January and both listed prices exclude the taxes.

Logitech, at CES this week, demonstrated the Harmony 1100, which will be successor of the currently available Harmony 1000.

The New Harmony 1100, is dominated by a 3.5 inch touchscreen is quite a dish to look at. However, it should be noted that the device is quite prone to sticks and stalls.

Furthermore, the device also rather dependent on being pointed in the right direction, despite using RF wireless capability that Logitech says "lets you control devices that you keep behind closed doors, even those you can't see."

On Wednesday, Airtel and Research in Motion (RIM) will announce the launch of BlackBerry Pearl Flipsmartphone in India. It has been learnt that the product would be priced at Rs 21,990.

The users are allowed to type and dial easily in the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 smartphone and the external display of smartphone provides previewing calendar reminders, email, text messages and phone calls.
