Apart from making its presence felt at the CII Auto Show South 2010 that took place at the Hitex Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad, Toyota Motors on Monday announced the entry of its BTL activity Q World in the region.

The event managed to create a wave of excitement in the region. Participants coming from various backgrounds were looked quite eager to see the much awaited concept model of Toyota's new compact car - Etios.

The car is expected to make its India debut by the end of the current calendar year wherein the company is planning to bring in its sedan version first followed by the hatchback model. The company is also planning to take its dealer network to 150 by the end of the current year.

Sailesh Shetty, General Manager, Sales, Toyota Kirloskar Motors said that events like these help the company to stay in direct touch with the consumers and take their feedback. Shetty also pointed out that the Etios would help the company to gain a sizeable market share in India.
