Daily Indian Stock Market Outlook: FairWealth Securities

Indian indices traded both above and below the dotted line finally closed flat. In positive global cues, IT and auto sector attracted good buying activities. SENSEX closed at 17462, up 50 points and Nifty at 5233, up 11 points from the previous close. CNX MIDCAP index was up 0.35% and BSE SMALLCAP index was up 0.17%.
The market breadth was positive with advances at 666 against declines of 596 on the NSE. Top gainers included M&M, TATAMOTORS, ICICIBANK, STER, DLF, HDFC, RELCAPITAL and MTNL. Top losers are listed as HUL, ACC, BHARTIARTL, CIPLA, TATASTEEL, SAIL and RPOWER.
In the next session, Indian indices may see some profit booking at higher levels. 5252 and 5300 may act as a resistance in NIFTY while 5180 is a good support level. Traders are still suggested to buy at dips as indices has good closing. STEEL and sector may face profit booking while IT and TELECOM may attract buying in the next session.
Investors who have a horizon of 6-12 months can buy the following companies. The companies have potential to give higher returns than index over a long term.
Punj Lloyd has announced that Sembawang Engineers and Constructors Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of the company has been awarded a contract worth approximately Rs 1394 crore from Sentosa Pte Ltd, Singapore for construction of Hotel, Spa, Beach Villas, an Oceanarium and Water Theme Park in Singapore.
IRB Infrastructure Developers has announced that the company, in consortium with Reliance Infrastructure, has submitted request for qualification (RFQ) for the project of design, engineering, finance, construction, operation & maintenance of 6 laning of Kishangarh Udaipur Ahmedabad section of NH 79A, 79, 78 & NH -8 on BOT (Toll) basis in the State of Gujarat & Rajasthan. The cost of this project as estimated by NHAI is Rs 5134 crore.

(Block-CB-ONN-2004/5 Tata Consultancy Services, a leading IT services, business solutions and outsourcing firm has announced that it has signed a multi-year outsourcing contract with Telenor Norway.
The contract comprises application maintenance and development services and will involve modernization of Telenor's Norway's application portfolio across its OSS, Fixed, Mobile, Datawarehouse and Accounting system domains.
