Indian market had a range-bound session, traded both above and below the dotted line. SENSEX closed at 16780, down 79 points and Nifty at 5007, down 28 points from the previous close. CNX MIDCAP index was down 1.36% and BSE SMALLCAP index was down 0.90%. Top gainers included BHARTIARTL, HUL, ITC, SUNPHARMA, LT and POWERGRID. On account of F&O expiry ahead, a high volatile market is expected in the next session. NIFTY range 4937-5055-85 should be kept in view while taking long and short position. CAPITAL GOODS and POWER stocks are expected to attract buying interest in the next session. REAL ESTATE may face selling pressure.
