Gopichand-Trisha starrer ‘Sankham’ directed by Siva, and produced by J Bhagawan and J Pulla Rao under the banner of Sri Balaji Cine Media is presently shooting in and around Hyderabad.

Popular Tamil actor Satyaraj is playing a key role in this film. Speaking on the occasion, the producers say, “When someone talks about ‘Souryam’, people could easily identify that the film is of Gopichand and Siva. The film has good story strength and at the same time, it has several other elements like mass, action and family relations. All the scenes would attract the audiences. The songs choreographed in Sydney would be a visual feast.”

The lead actress of the film Trisha says, “Besides ‘Sankham’, I am also doing a film with Venkatesh as hero titled ‘Namo Venkatesa’ under the direction of Sreenu Vaitla. Along with these two Telugu films, I am playing lead actress in two Tamil films, one with Simbu and another with Dhanush. I also signed for a film to be directed by Gautham Menon with four new heroes. As I shot into fame in south Indian language films, I got an offer from Bollywood too. To be produced by Akshay Kumar, with himself as the hero, the film ‘Khatta Meetha’ would have Priyadarshan as director. That Hindi film is most likely to go on sets in October.”

Chandramohan, Swati, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Ali, Venumadhav, Krishna Bhagawan, MS Narayana, LB Sriram, Raghunatha Reddy, Benarjee, Katraju, Prasadbabu, Fish Venkat, Sita, Rajita, Radhakumari and others are in the cast.
