New Delhi, Oct. 20 : Ailing Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi was on Monday shifted to the Indraprastha Apollo Hospital from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), as doctors and his family felt that his neurological condition could be better treated at the former place.
"He has been shifted at 10.30 am. His family wanted to shift him for further treatment of his neurological condition. His condition is stable and he needs more neurological care," AIIMS Medical Superintendent Dr D K Sharma said.
Sixty-two-year-old Dasmunsi, who has been under treatment at AIIMS for the past eight days, "continues to remain the same. He is stable but still unconscious," Dr. Sharma said.
