Prince Charles ‘lectures Wills to do more royal duties’

Prince CharlesLondon, March 8 : Prince William has reportedly been lectured by his father Charles to involve himself in more royal commitments.

The report comes just a few weeks after the 26-year-old was accused in a TV documentary of carrying out only 14 engagements as compared to his father, who touched
84 at the same age.

While the royal house dubbed the documentary as "unbalanced" and "one-sided", it seemed to have its effect following Prince of Wales' recent advise to his son, who has been frequently snapped partying with his girlfriend.

One of the six letters to Welsh-born Janet Jenkins was penned in 1980, just a year before he tied the knot with Princess Diana, reports the Sun.

Charles and Jenkins met in 1975 when she was a receptionist at the British consulate in Montreal, Canada.

In the letter, written on official Windsor Castle notepaper, Charles complains of his frustration with the press and fear of marrying the wrong girl.

Charles, 60, will be visiting the Amazon in Brazil next month where he will give a keynote speech on what he has described as "one of the biggest crises facing the planet".

He may also break with protocol by appearing in adverts with Hollywood stars like Harrison Ford to raise global awareness of the threat to rainforests.

Prince CharlesLondon, January 25 : A Scots Guard sentry on duty at Prince Charles' home has won support of his fellow soldiers after he lost his cool with a cheeky student mimicking his march.

The bearskin-wearing guard was caught on tape when he hit Nick Ibarra, a Columbian student, on the back of his head, aimed a boot at him, and growlingly pushed the 230year-old away with his SA-80 semi automatic rifle.

And now friends of the guardsman have backed his reaction, saying soldiers need to be respected.
