Prince Charles ‘lectures Wills to do more royal duties’
London, March 8 : Prince William has reportedly been lectured by his father Charles to involve himself in more royal commitments.
The report comes just a few weeks after the 26-year-old was accused in a TV documentary of carrying out only 14 engagements as compared to his father, who touched
84 at the same age.
While the royal house dubbed the documentary as "unbalanced" and "one-sided", it seemed to have its effect following Prince of Wales' recent advise to his son, who has been frequently snapped partying with his girlfriend.
"He has made it very plain to his son exactly how he feels and what he thinks William should do," the Daily Star quoted an aide as saying.
"William needs to get out and see how ordinary people live.
"And he won't discover that by drinking 5,000- pound bottles of champagne at Boujis or in the officers' mess," the aide added.
A palace adviser added: "William is a very lucky young man who lives an extremely comfortable life.
"But he often doesn't see that his privileged life comes with some serious responsibilities." (ANI)
