New Delhi, Sept.28 : Union Human Resource Development Minister Arjun Singh flagged off the "Azadi Express" - the Mobile Train Exhibition from the Safdarjang Railway station here today.

The mobile exhibition celebrates the 150th anniversary of the 1857 uprising, the 60 years of India's independence from British colonial rule and the birth centenary of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh.

Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh), Sept. 28 : At least 60 children were taken ill after eating a mid-day meal served at a school in Behalolpur village in Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad District.

The children, who are undergoing treatment at the district hospital, had started vomiting after having the meal.

D K Gupta, Chief Medical Superintendent, Moradabad District Hospital, said: "Around 61 children have been brought here on Thursday out of which 37 have been given saline water. All the children are better now," he said.

Bangalore, Sept 28 : Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has expressed the hope that there would be a smooth handover of power in the state, even as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is yet to convince the Janata Dal (Secular) in this regard.

Yediyurappa said the BJP would hold talks with the JD(S) after September 30, the day when the results of the urban local bodies elections are scheduled to be declared.

“At the moment the party is busy with the polls,” Yediyurappa was quoted by a website as saying.

Washington, Sept 28 : A new study has found that there is no difference in the risk of developing breast cancer between wine, beer or spirits, since it is the consumption of alcohol itself and the quantity that triggers the cancer.

The study found that the increased breast cancer risk from drinking three or more alcoholic drinks a day is similar to the increased breast cancer risk from smoking a packet of cigarettes or more a day.
