A federal lawsuit has been filed on Thursday against the nation’s largest Catholic health care group. The lawsuit accuses Trinity Health of denying women reproductive health procedures such as emergency abortions.

The American Civil Liberties Union and the American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan filed an amended complaint Friday against Trinity Health, headquartered in Livonia, in US District Court in Detroit.

According to the lawsuit, Trinity Health requires all of its hospitals to meet the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services. “They prohibit Catholic hospitals from terminating the pregnancy of a woman suffering a pregnancy complication, even if such care is urgently needed to protect a woman’s health or life”, said lawsuit.

A woman, Li Meng, suddenly started hearing ‘scratching’ noises, and thought that she might be ill or has been ‘possessed by evil spirits’. But when she went to see a doctor, she came to know that a spider had been living there.

The new maps have come courtesy of Dawn spacecraft of the United States space agency. The probe has been orbiting Ceres, which lies between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter, since March this year. The maps have shown compositional and elevation differences across the dwarf planet.

The space agency has been studying images of the dwarf planet sent from Dawn probe. Bright spots of Ceres are mysteries for scientists since their discovery. Now, according to NASA, scientists have found the source of mysterious spots.
