The U. S. Senate Finance Committee has issued a 334-page report, which showed a connection between Avandia, the Type 2 diabetes drug, and thousands of heart failures.

The committee's statement, which analyzed over 250,000 pages of documents provided by GlaxoSmithKline, the USFDA and research institutes, also criticized the FDA for disregarding safety fears regarding the drug brought up by its team.

According to reports, confidential analyzes showed FDA functionaries suggested Avandia be removed from the market owing to the heart failure risk.

Mumbai, Feb 21 - Vatsal Seth, who shared screen space with Tabu in "Toh Baat Pakki", says he had fun on the sets when he sang "Ruk Ruk Ruk..", the famous dance number from the leading lady's 1994 film.

Tabu, who played an older sister's role, took Vatsal and Sharman Joshi under her wings and looked after them on location. She regularly gave tips to Vatsal on how to handle his scenes.

Vatsal one day mustered the courage to break into Tabu's "Ruk ruk ruk" dance item from the film "Vijaypath".

Mumbai, Feb 21 - After horror film "Click", director Sangeeth Sivan has two projects in hand and Bobby Deol will be playing the lead roles in both.

"I am going to start my next projects. I am making two films. My next film 'Cheers' is a drama where you will see Dharam-ji (Dharmendra) and Bobby Deol together," Sivan told IANS.

"It's a father and son story. The story is about a road trip... a journey where a father and son re-discover each other. It's a story very close to my heart," he added.
