A campaign to further increase the number of tourists seeking low-cost medical and dental treatments is being created by Health and tourism officials in Poland.

Poland. pl reported on Friday that the Polish Association of Medical Tourism said as many as 330,000 visitors come to the country each year and spend $1,500 on average for dental crowns and implants and surgeries such as
breast augmentation.

A study has indicated that the HIV rate for gay men in Washington was nearly five times higher than the overall rate for adults and teenagers in the city.

The D. C. HIV/AIDS Administration has said that more than 14 percent of the 500 gay men interviewed for the study were HIV positive as opposed to more than 3 percent of adults and teenagers.

The Washington Post reported on Friday that more than 40 percent of the gay men were unaware of their HIV status before they participated in the study, though most had seen a doctor within the last year.

A new research claimed that pneumonia is the major cause of death among Chinese kids.

According to the study report, pneumonia causes 17%of fatalities in under-5s.

But the total number of kids in China who die under the age of five has sank 70%since 1990 from 6.5%of live births to 1.9%.

The results of the study, released in the Lancet journal, were led by the University of Edinburgh.

They will benefit from the new U. S. healthcare bill by handling more administrative work for insurers, say companies in India.

Ananda Mukerji, managing director of Firstsource Solutions, which handles so-called back-office operations for dozens of U. S. insurance companies, said, "The healthcare reform bill is a very, very big opportunity for us."
