3.5 pc job reservation for Muslims, Christians in Tamil Nadu

Chennai, Sept 13: DMK government in Tamil Nadu has announced the plans to provide reservation of 3.5 per cent each to Muslims and Christians candidates in jobs and educational institutes in the state.

An ordinance in this regard will soon be promulgated, and it would come into effect from September 15 this year, which will be DMK founder and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C N Annadurai's 99th birth anniversary.

Chief Minister, M Karunanidhi made this announcement in a press conference in Chennai today.

New Delhi: After nation-wide protests by the BJP and other Hindu groups over the Congress government’s affidavit in the Sethu Samundram case, the Union Law Minister Hans Raj Bharadwaj today said that a new affidavit will be filed in the Supreme Court very soon. Washington, Sep 13 : Rocker Tommy Lee has shattered all hopes of Motley Crue's reunion by quitting the band.

Lee’s decision comes after the filing of an amended complaint, by his three bandmates, against his manager and business partner Carl Stubner.

Mick Mars, Vince Neil and Nikki Sixx are demanding 20 million dollars in damages, and argue that Stubner cost them millions by influencing Lee to turn his back on profitable concert dates and concentrate his efforts in two reality TV shows.
