The contract made intraday low of Rs 11961 a kg and high of Rs 12150 a kg. Support for jeera is at 11911 below that could see a test of 11841. Resistance is now seen at 12100 above that could see a resistance of 12219.

Turmeric hit the 4 percent lower circuit on profit-booking driven by rising arrivals at the major trading centres. Arrivals have increased at Nizamabad and Erode centers. In Nizamabad arrivals have risen to 18,000 bags (70 kgs) from 12,000-15,000 bags coming last week. Turmeric yesterday we have seen that market has moved -4%. Market has opened at 11340 & made a low of 10904 versus the day high of 11340. The total volume for the day was at 11460 lots and the open interest was at 7480.Support for turmeric is at 10759 below that could see a test of 10613. Resistance is now seen at 11195 above that could see a resistance of 11485.

Chana ended almost steady on some buying interest at low levels, but rising arrivals and expectation of higher output restricted the gains. However, any major fall is unlikely as low-level buying is seen supporting prices. In Delhi spot market, price gained 37 rupees to end 2,208 rupees per 100 kg. Chana dropped Rs 2 and settled at Rs 2242 per quintal. The volume was noted at 104560 lots. Support for chana is at 2226 below that could see a test of 2209. Resistance is now seen at 2262 above that could see a resistance of 2281.
