Final period for board chief

Canterbury-District-Health-BoardIt is finally confirmed by Alister James that he will not be reappointed as chairman of Canterbury District Health Board (CDHB).

In yesterday’s meeting he declared the board members that this would be my final update.

James said that on Tuesday further declarations will be made on new appointments. Outgoing board member, Jo Kane held that the decision to replace James proved how politically provoked the appointments were.

For being sent on jobs during lunch break, paramedics get £25 paid as compensation. However, they get nothing if they are not called upon.
