Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has informed that it has no plan to extend its 'Electravan' project. BHEL has produced the country's first ever operated bus 'Electravan' in Bhopal.

A new and better way to detect explosives has been found out. The American scientists have invented a new way of detecting the explosives. The concept is called Optical Dynamic Detection (ODD) solution and it has been informed that spectroscopy has been used for the purpose. Spectroscopy uses various color spectrums to shed light on certain package's makeup.

The Explosives Division of the Department of Homeland Security's Science and Technology Directorate has been examining the technology quite seriously and soon the concept may be used in various missions.
