The release of the tilt puzzle game called Balance, for Mac, has been announced by Balance Game, Mac Logo Interactive, which the users can enjoy playing by just titling their laptop.

The users can comfortably use the built-in accelerometers of all Apple notebooks including MacBook, PowerBook and iBook models, apart from the mouse and trackpad. In order to play in this game; the players have to tilt the playfield to guide one or more balls between various 3D obstacles to their destinations.

Recently, Finnish mobile phone giant Nokia announced that even after trying hard to grow its market share in Japan, it has not helped in anyways, so the company would soon stop selling its handsets in Japan.

However, Nokia revealed that its luxury Vertu brand would continue being sold in Japan, and would dedicate its Japanese business for research purposes. The prices were cut on certain items by approximately 5 to 10 percent. Where a discount of $21 was being given on an iPods, which was being sold for $378; a 13-inch MacBook was being offered for $1,200, a discount of $100. However, the very popular iPhone was not on sale.

Government and hotels are likely to review mandatory safety and security norms for the hospitality industry. Security norms need to be more stringent in the wake of the terrorist attacks on prestigious five star hotels in Mumbai. The vice-president (hotels) at India Tourism Development Corp. Ltd, Sudhir Sibal said that as terrorists are updating themselves with time, hotel industry should also become more updated.

The Reserve Bank of India, on Friday announced sops for the exporters and housing finance companies by extending the time period for credit facilities. The apex bank has increased the period for post-shipment export credit to 180 days from existing 90 days.

The move would help exporters who are facing liquidity problem due to the ongoing financial crisis. The bank is already providing refinance help to NBFCs, HFCs and MFs to control credit crunch and refinance facility is further increased to June 30, 2009, from March 31, 2009.
