Lupin, a leading pharmaceutical major has announced that it has teamed up with Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Socities of India (FOGSI) to roll out 'Save the Girl Child' Campaign.
According to sources, the objective of the campaign is to mobilise obstetrics and gynaecological community which will run awareness and community care programmes towards eradicating female foeticide and infanticide.

The researchers said, “The treatments could be used to aid marriage counseling or even help a person stay monogamous.”
Mumbai Police had arrested many revellers for taking drugs at the Juhu pub two months ago on October 5, 2008. 92% of them have been found positive during the drug tests. The state forensic science laboratory reported that many girls tested positive for Ecstasy or MDMA.
