The Rolling Stones magazine has enlisted 100 leaders, celebrities, writers, and thinkers who are considered to be crucial for America's future.
London, Mar 2 : U2 frontman Bono has said that he doesn’t want to enter the debate on illegal music downloading because he already has his hands full with the campaigning of many issues.
For many years, the singer has been involved in charity campaigns and philanthropic activities, and has even set up a large number of projects for Africa, organising benefit concerts and meeting world leaders.
However, the Irish rocker is not inclined to take up the issue of illegal music downloads.
Washington, Feb 28 : Irish singer Bono has revealed that he fears his children find him boring after he overheard his eldest daughter saying so, during a dinner with superstar couple Beyonce and Jay-Z.
U2's lead vocalist Bono, 48, has two daughters, Jordan, 19, and Memphis, 17, with wife Alison Hewson, and he heard his daughter telling her friends about him.
"I went in to get some wine out of the fridge and I heard her talking to her friends, because she loves Jay-Z and Beyonce," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
London, Feb 24 : U2 vocalist Bono says that some of his fans want musicians like him to die young in the traditional rock 'n' roll style.
The 48-year-old musician adds that many people love the mystique associated with early deaths of musicians like Kurt Cobain and John Lennon.
However, the `The Hands That Built America' hitmaker has vowed to continue playing until he is old.
"One of the things we like about rock'n'roll is the religiosity. And genuinely people do want you to die on a cross age 33, with a Jack Daniels in your hand," the Mirror quoted Bono as saying.
London, Feb 19 : U2 frontman Bono has revealed that his ambition is to be the sixth member of Girls Aloud.
The 48-year-old rock legend along with his band members performed a raunchy version of the song which landed Girls Aloud the gong for Best British Single at 2009 Brit awards.
They wore sequined burlesque costumes, and were surrounded by male dancers in white top hats and tails.
Before rehearsals, Bono jokingly said he wanted "to be in Girls Aloud".
