Lahore, Jan 5: Pakistan Occupied Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Attique Ahmad Khan has said that a four-point formula proposed by former President Pervez Musharraf for resolving the Kashmir dispute was based on wisdom, a private TV channel has reported.

Attique supported Musharraf's formula, saying there should be a phased withdrawal of the Indian Army from Jammu and Kashmir and a simultaneous withdrawal of the Pakistan Army from POK.

He said local defence forces should replace the armies of India and Pakistan in both parts of Kashmir.

Lahore, Jan 5: Sri Lanka is planning to host at home five-ODI series against India after splitting their proposed tour of Pakistan.

Under the plan, Sri Lanka will visit Pakistan for the limited-overs leg of their tour later this month, return home for India's visit and head back to Pakistan to play three Tests.

"I have told Sri Lanka Cricket chief executive Duleep Mendis to look at the option of touring Pakistan first for five ODIs and a Twenty20 match," Gamini Lokuge, the Sri Lanka Sports Minister, said.

Lahore, Jan. 3 : Despite India calling -off its cricket tour to Pakistan, relations between the two cricket boards have not suffered any dent.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has rejected reports which suggested that the Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) was behind the delay in Sri Lanka's confirmation of its tour of Pakistan.

"Despite the cancellation of the Indian team's tour, the PCB continues to have good relations with the BCCI," PCB chief operating officer Salim Altaf said.

Lahore, Jan 3: A village by the name of `Pakistan' still exists in Purnea district of Bihar despite growing tensions between India and Pakistan in the aftermath of the Mumbai terror strikes that killed 170 people.

In spite of tensions between the two neighbours, the residents of Pakistan village in Purnea district do not want to change the name of their village.

According to the BBC, the villagers did not want war between the two countries and wanted to spread the message of peace and brotherhood.

`Pakistan' is a village on western Bengal's borders from where the native Muslim population had migrated to then East Pakistan in 1947, and in the memory of those Muslims, the locals had named the village `Pakistan'.
