IBM regional executive director visits Dubai University

IBMDubai, Nov. 12th, 2008 --President of Dubai University Dr Mohammed Omar Hefni, discussed today in Dubai with IBM Executive Director in Europe, the Middle East and Africa Larry Hurst, ways of boosting cooperation between the two sides.

Hefni welcomed the visit, which he described as important in regard to the technological relations between the university and company. The visit came in the wake of the agreement signed between Dubai University and IBM Company. As per this agreement, the staff received hi tech training.

Pakistan could move up to fourth in ICC ODI Championship

All the ODIs will be day and night matches and will take place at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi and if Shoaib Malik’s men can win all three they will gain four ratings points and move above fifth-placed India and fourth-placed New Zealand.

Players unite to launch ICC Diversity Day

International Cricket CouncilDubai, Nov. 11 : Leading international cricketers from England, West Indies and Pakistan have helped launch ICC Diversity Day 2008.

ICC Diversity Day, which was held for the first time last year during the ICC World Twenty20 2007, will take place on 20 November 2008 to coincide with a busy programme of fixtures in the international cricket calendar. The day, which is set to become an annual feature in the cricket calendar, will see a variety of activities around the world that celebrate the diversity of the sport.
