Al Owais receives head of the Emirates Scrabble Association

Dubai, Nov. 12th, 2008 --The Culture, Youth and Community Development Minister HE Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Owais, received yesterday at his office here Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al Nuaimi, head of the Emirates Scrabble Association.
The meeting discussed the activities of the association since its inception on Jan. 10, 2008, with support from the Department of Culture and Information in Ajman. The minister commended the efforts exerted by the association to promote the game, particularly at schools. (WAM/MN)
