Dubai, Nov. 10 (ANI): The gap between Australia and the rest is cut to 13 ratings points after its 2-0 series defeat to India
India has moved into second place in the Reliance Mobile ICC Test Championship table after regaining the Border-Gavaskar Trophy from Australia.
The team wrapped up a 172-run victory on day five of the fourth Test at Nagpur and in the process gained seven ratings points to draw level with South Africa on 116. But Graeme Smith’s team now slips just below India to third position by a fraction of a ratings point.
All is not lost for the Proteas. If they win both Tests in the two-match series coming up against Bangladesh, they will be back into second position.
