Ohio, Dec. 10 : Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher, a plumber who acquired fame earlier this year for seeking answers from Barack Obama about tax cuts, has said that he has been left appalled by the stances taken on issues by former Republican presidential nominee John McCain, especially on the 700 billion dollar bailout package.
Popularly known as "Joe The Plumber", Wurzelbacher told conservative radio host Glenn Beck that he felt "dirty" after "being on the campaign trail and seeing some of the things that take place."

Washington, Dec. 5 : A close ally of Republican presidential candidate Senator John McCain has charged US President-elect Barack Obama with having followed his predecessor Richard Nixon’s 1972 path to victory — drowning his opponent with cash.
“If the roles were reversed and it was the Republican Party nominee who had decided to walk away from the system and spend hundreds of millions of dollars more than the Democratic nominee — having a very direct effect on the election — I do not think it would have been taken with as much equanimity by the press and the powers that be as has been the case this year,” said Trevor Potter, a McCain confidant who served as the top lawyer to the Republican presidential candidate’s campaign.
New Delhi, Dec 2 : US senator John Mccain met Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh here on Tuesday, to show solidarity with India in the wake of terror attack in Mumbai.
McCain, a Republican Party leader was on his way from Iraq to Bangladesh and had a stop over in New Delhi.
U. S Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will also travel to India on Wednesday at the request of President George W. Bush in the wake of Mumbai attacks, the White House said on Sunday.
On Sunday, Bush called Manmohan Singh to again offer U. S. support and condolences for the victims and the families of those killed in the attacks.
Phoenix (Arizona, US), Nov. 26 : losing Republican presidential candidate John McCain has said that he will run for a fifth Senate term in 2010.
McCain, however, laughed off suggestions on running for president again.
According to CBS, he said he does "not envision a scenario that would entail that."
McCain also lauded President-elect Barack Obama''s decision to tap Arizona’s Republican Governor Janet Napolitano for the post of homeland security chief, saying she is highly qualified for the job.
He said that he would look back "with pride and honor" on the experience of running for president in 2008.
New York, Nov 26 : John McCain, the Republican presidential candidate who lost to Barack Obama in the Nov 4 poll, has said that he would work in tandem with the President-elect in helping the country getting out of the economic recession at the earliest.
According to the New York Daily News, McCain last evening pledged to work with Obama on the economy and other issues.
According to the paper, McCain said he would visit Iraq and Afghanistan, then work with Obama to pass an economic rescue plan, and maybe even immigration reforms.
