New York, Feb 2 : Penelope Cruz, who has been spotted recently with a fuller figure, is reportedly pregnant with her second child.

The 38-year-old actress and her husband Javier Bardem are already parents to son Leo Encinas Bardem, who was born in January 2011 at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, the New York Post reported.

She began dating Bardem in 2007 and married in early July 2010 in an intimate ceremony at a friend's home in the Bahamas. (ANI)

Hollywood actor Javier Bardem will next be seen in a film based on the plights of miners in Chile, who were recently in news after it was found out that the workers remained trapped inside the mines for a span of 67 days. The yet-to-be-titled film is thus based on the true story of 33 men, all of them miners in Chile, who had to remain underground for more than two months, with the government facing much criticism after failing to get them out of the hell hole sooner than they did.

London, Nov 25 :Spanish beauty Penelope Cruz and her actor boyfriend Javier Bardem are reportedly planning to marry in December.

"They will marry very soon, maybe even over the holidays. Since she and Javier are from Spain, she'd love to have a Spanish designer create her dream gown," a source close to them was quoted as saying by contactmusic. com.

It is believed the dress could be created by the House of Balenciaga, which was founded by Spanish design house Cristobal Balenciaga. Actress Salma Hayek's wedding gown had also been designed by Balenciaga.

Washington, July 25 : Spanish actor Javier Bardem has opted out of forthcoming sequel to 1987 film Wall Street.

The Oscar winner was to star alongside Michael Douglas in the film directed by Oliver Stone and tentatively titled `Money Never Sleeps'.

Douglas will reprise his role as the ruthless Wall Street player Gordon Gekko, while Transformers star Shia LaBeouf will be playing an ambitious trader who is engaged to Gekko''s daughter.

Washington, June 8 : Javier Bardem is in talks to star alongside Julia Roberts in Ryan Murphy-directed adaptation of the Elizabeth Gilbert memoir-`Eat, Pray, Love'.

The Columbia Pictures project also stars Richard Jenkins as part of the cast, reports Variety magazine.

In the film, Roberts plays the author, and Bardem Felipe-the man Gilbert meets and falls in love with on the final leg of a journey of self-discovery that began with the end of her marriage.

Washington, Feb 7 : Hollywood actor Javier Bardem is likely to play the role of Pancho Villa in the biopic of the Mexican revolutionary.

Serbian director Emir Kusturica is busy writing a screenplay for the project and is keen to cast the Spanish Oscar winner in the film.

The screenplay of the film is being written under the working title Seven Friends of Pancho Villa and the Woman with Six Fingers, - based on James Carlos Blake''s novel The Friends of Pancho Villa.
