India approves 14 FDI proposals worth Rs.1,311 crore on Friday

Mee Seva adds 16 more servicesThe government has expanded its eGovernance initiative, `Mee Seva' to include 16 new services catering to different needs of the residents in the state.

The scheme was launched by the Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy and it now includes 58 services. The service caters to about 70,000 citizens per day in all the districts of the state. Officials believe that the total number of services covered under the service will rise to 100 and that it will cater to about 1 lakh people everyday across the state.

The Army had confirmed on Wednesday that two of its soldiers were first shot dead by Pakistani troops and then beheaded, and that the head of one of the soldiers had not been found.
