Washington, Jan 12 : An alleged threat against American President Barack Obama by a resident of Clinton Township, Michigan has alerted the U. S. Secret Service. A Comerica Bank employee told local police that he overheard the 57-year-old man tell another customer on January 2 that he wanted the president to be assassinated, according to a local paper.

New Delhi, Jan 12 : Indian tennis player Somdev Devvarman, who led a rebellion against the All India Tennis Association (AITA), said that the association has been acting in an unprofessional manner in handling their demands.

AITA named the Davis Cup team for the Feb 1-3 tie against South Korea to be held here, leaving out the rebel players.

Mumbai, Jan 12 : Actress Sushmita Sen will make a comeback on the big screen this year and promises the film will feature her in her trademark style.

Without divulging anything more, she said: "If I tell you everything now what will you watch?"

While Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal said that the decision of hiking the fares was imperative to improve the financial health of the national transporter, many passengers have expressed unhappiness over the hikes.

Mr. Bansal described the hikes as 'marginal,' and stressed that the move help the railways in taking up large developmental activities.

The new online service aims to make distribution of cooking gas cylinders more flexible as well as to allow distributors to provide genuine service. The service is available to all LPG consumers on an intra-company basis.
