London, Jun 20 : A judge has blasted a council officer for wasting 5000 pounds of taxpayers'' money by dragging a teenager to crown court over a dropped mint wrapper.

The sweet wrapper had blown out of Larissa Wilkinson''s car window when her 18-month-old niece unwrapped it, and when the officer spotted it, the 19-year-old girl was charged with depositing controlled waste.

Judge Roger Scott was stunned when she appeared before him at crown court, where murderers and rapists face trial.

London, Jun 20 : A three-year-old falcon has showed off his talents on the tennis court by picking up stray tennis balls and returning them to its owner.

Stanley, a Striated Caracara falcon, first displayed his ballboy skills when his owner Trevor Hill, 43 was playing tennis with a pal a few weeks ago.

"Stanley was flying at my place near the court and managed to get over the wire fence," the Sun quoted Hill as saying.

The cousins collaborated on `Love Will Find A Way' in 1993, and now, 16 years on, they're set to duet again.

London, Jun 20 : Jack Tweed was spotted partying at Ascot, wearing the same suit he had worn during his wedding to late celebrity Jade Goody and later to her funeral.

Tweed, 21, left his Essex home in the 1,100 pounds outfit on June 19 and hooked up with former model Calum Best, 28, when he arrived at the racecourse.

The widower was seen drinking Pimm's, charming the women, basking in their attention, and later placing some bets.
