Riyadh - The Saudi Ministry of Health said Saturday that four new new cases of the A/H1N1, or swine flu virus had been confirmed, boosting the total to 34 in the country.

Two young girls and an eight-month-old baby had contracted the virus after coming in contact with "a previously confirmed case," the ministry said in a statement released to reporters.

The fourth case was that of a 27-year-old Saudi man who had returned to the kingdom from Thailand on Tuesday, the ministry said.

Hamburg  - More than 1,000 Iranian exiles demonstrated on Saturday against the re-election of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

The protesters marched through the centre of the north German port of Hamburg, displaying banners reading "We want a new election" and "Down with the dictator."

Some of the demonstrators carried green ribbons, the colour of Iran's opposition, and photographs of people injured during anti-election protests in Iran.

Police said the march was peaceful.

Bangkok  - Thailand confirmed 73 new cases of swine flu Saturday, taking the country's total to 662, the Thai Health Ministry reported.

Public Health Minister Witthaya Kaewparadai said no one has died from the virus in Thailand and only 11 have needed to be hospitalized.

Most of the cases have been in Bangkok, with a lesser number found in 23 other provinces. Thailand has 76 provinces including Bangkok.
