This week's episode of the 'Gossip Girl' was an eventful one. Here are some of the interesting and intriguing events that transpired on the show:

Serena had a major rift with her step-brother Dan which led to his missing his interview for an internship. Serena made a return from her break but found herself amidst a plethora of problems including the complex issues from the past. There are issues that need to be sorted out with her mother and after the feud with Dan, she seems to be going through a bad phase.

Coming to Chuck, he was a tad disturbed on finding out that Lily was selling Bass Industries that was the sole legacy of his dad. However, Chuck felt slightly relieved on learning that it was being sold to Mr. Thorpe who, as per Chuck, was his dad's close friend. Now, it's probable that Chuck would need to get close to Thorpe's daughter in order to get back Bass Industries.

After calling it splits with Serena, Dan is seen bonding big time with Blair. He was seen going for a movie along with her. Though the chemistry between them is pretty smouldering, it would take some time before something happens on the romantic front. And they didn't kiss in the cinema hall rather they sat with an empty seat in between them.

Meanwhile, Serena learned that Ben has been released from truth. The two were seen heading towards a coffee cafe. It is to be seen if they develop soft feelings for each other!
