Recently, the Finnish handset maker Nokia, launched its exclusive model in the Xpress Music phones at Rs 19,999, thus making the competition stiffer in the touch screen phone segment.

Nokia India MD D Shivakumar, reported, “Nokia 5800 Xpress Music will be made available either by December-end or January next year and will be priced at Rs 19,999.”

Moreover, a beta version of the Nokia Music Store would also be launched by the company on 18th December of this year, while in Q1 of the next year; the consumer version would be available.

Bangkok - The Airports of Thailand (AOT) on Thursday closed down Bangkok's old intyernational airport, Don Mueang, cutting the capital off from air traffic after protestors closed the new airport Suvarnabhumi International Airport on Wednesday.

Two weeks before, when 2Wire introduced its MediaPoint set-top box, it was reported that “It'll be a matter of weeks--if not days--before you see a yet-to-be-named service provider offering its own version of the MediaPoint, possibly at a sub-$100 price point.”

However, since that initial provider turns out to be Blockbuster Video, the curtain has been pulled back. The company’s version of the MediaPoint box is being offered for just $99, which includes a credit for 25 movies, for a limited period of time.

Soon, the Asus Eee PC 1000H model of netbooks would be replaced by the company with the 1002HA. Though almost similar design is featured by the new netbook, it has a thinner profile.

A brushed metal external shell and front mounted speakers and the same system specifications as the older model with a 1.6 GHz Intel N270 Atom Processor, 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard disk would also be featured by 1002HA. The new model will be powered by Windows XP.

New York  - A large US fitness studio chain is attracting members with a full cinema experience in its studios.

Instead of comfortable plush seats, treadmills are installed in the studio's Cardio Cinema areas, which are dark, just like regular cinemas. While exercising, members can watch movies such as Superman Returns or The Love Guru on a large screen. The programme changes daily, but for health reasons, no popcorn is served.
