Three Jewish men attacked, injured in Paris
Paris - Three Jewish men aged 17 and 18 were attacked by a group of youths of similar age in Paris, a French police spokeswoman said Sunday.
The three victims who were wearing yarmulkas at the time were struck by stones and blows thrown by a group of five young men, who later escaped. The victims were treated in hospital.
Police could not confirm whether the attack was motivated by anti- Semitism. A similar attack occurred in Paris in June when a 17-year- old Jewish man was severely injured. He too was wearing the Jewish religious head covering. (dpa)
