Srikkanth peps up Ganguly for more tons

Chief selector Krishnamachari SrikkanthChief selector Krishnamachari Srikkanth lauded the century scored by Sourav Ganguly at Mohali against the Australians and asked the southpaw to come up with more hundreds in his last series so that he goes out on a high.

Speaking with the media persons, Srikkanth said, “I am very happy Ganguly is doing so well. He still has two more matches to go.”

"I will be very happy if he gets centuries in the next two matches and goes out on a big high," added Srikkanth.

Ganguly scored a fine 102 in the first innings in Mohali. This was his 16th hundred overall and just his second against Australia in 22 Tests.

Commenting over the record 320 run margin win over Aussies at Mohali, an elated Srikkanth said, “They played like the Australians --aggressive cricket -- from the first day in Mohali.”
