Peshawar, Jan 19 : The Tehrik -i-Taliban Pakistan has released a rare video containing statements from suicide bombers who have intentions to carry out strikes inside Pakistan.

The 40-minute tape shows men and youths, some apparently in their teens, addressing the camera about their intention to carry out suicide attacks to background music of Urdu militant anthems.

Militant commander Qari Hussain, who is based in South Waziristan, handed out the video to journalists in Peshawar, the Dawn reported.

Hussain is also known as "Ustad-i-Fidayeen" or teacher of suicide bombers. All those featured on the video spoke in Pashto.

Peshawar, Jan 19 : At least 15 Taliban militants, a local commander among them, and a soldier were killed in a clash with Pakistani security forces in the Kandaro tehsil in Mohmand tribal region.

Helicopter gunships shelled suspected Taliban hideouts in Sandukhel and Mullahkhel areas of Kandaro tehsil on Saturday night, killing a number of militants, including their local commander Yaqub. Some militants were killed when a helicopter attacked their vehicle.

Lahore, Jan 13: A terminal storing NATO supplies in Peshawar came under rocket fire as security forces expanded a military operation to Landikotal tehsil of Khyber Agency.

Unidentified assailants fired six rockets at the terminal on Pusht Khera Road, a private TV channel reported on Monday.

Security personnel deployed to protect the terminal retaliated and the ensuing gun battle lasted for almost half an hour, but there were not casualties.

Peshawar, Jan 12 : People in Pakistan's restive Swat Valley are leaving the area, because surviving in duress is becoming difficult for them, as they have been subjected to many "dos and don'ts" in recent months by the Taliban militants.

Over the past two weeks, many families left the valley fearing a bleak future for their children. Apart from the education sector, which has suffered constantly in the settled and Tribal Areas, the people of Swat have been subjected to many `dos and don'ts' in recent months.

Peshawar, Jan 5: The Pakistan Government is providing covert support to the Taliban to capture land in eastern and western Quetta in order to undermine the Baloch nationalist movement and promote Talibanisation in Balochistan.
