Amy WinehouseLondon, January 21 : Amy Winehouse has been dubbed a lifesaver by a Caribbean tourist, who claims that she was indebted to the singer for performing a Baywatch-style rescue on a beach.

Louise Williams revealed she had been taking a sailing lesson in St. Lucia when she landed on a bed of rocks after being thrown by a 6ft wave.

She further said that it was the `Back to Black' singer who rushed to her aid, helped clean her cuts, and later wrapped her in fresh towels.

The `Rehab' hitmaker saw herself in ripped denim shorts, string vest and black T-shirt, bearing a pained expression with cuts all over her legs in the snap.

The `Back to Black' singer revealed that it was then that she vowed to make a fresh start for 2009, and give up her unhealthy habits like drug and alcohol addiction.

Her jailbird-hubby Blake Fielder-Civil is presently seeking divorce from the singer on the grounds of alleged adultery, his solicitor has confirmed.

50 Cent launches film production company

50 Cent launches film production companyLondon, January 21 : Rapper 50 Cent is working on an expansion plan with a view to including a film production company in his multimedia empire.

The singer, whose real name Curtis Jackson, has already launched moviemaking firm Cheetah Vision.

He is currently promoting the new venture at top U. S. independent film festival Sundance.

His production company is said to have secured the movie rights to eight scripts including The Dance, which will co-starring himself and actor Nicolas Cage.
