Musharraf will be killed by Pak religious organizations one day: Talat BugtiIslamabad, Dec 21: President of the Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) and son of Akbar Bugti, Talal Bugti, has made it clear that he has no connection with religious organization functioning in Pakistan, but said that one day former President Pervez Musharraf will be killed by them.

Talal Bugti was of the view that certain religious organisations were after Musharraf and could one day target him for his disastrous actions against Islam.

Pakistani police warns hotel owners against showing Indian films

Islamabad, December 21: Police in Mansehra District in the North-West Frontier Province of Pakistan have warned hotel and restaurant owners against showing Indian films to their guests.

"If the practice of showing banned channels is not stopped, you will not only be fined but dish antennas, CD players and television sets would also be confiscated," the News quoted Khursheed Tanoli, the Station House Officer of Balakot police station, as warning hotel and restaurant owners during a meeting on Saturday.

The move follows people's complaints that Indian movies and `vulgar channels' were being shown at various hotels and restaurants, says the newspaper.

Mushahid advocates for national consensus government in Pakistan

Agents foil attempt to smuggle Buddha relics out of Pakistan

which were being smuggled to China, media reports said Saturday.

The artefacts were concealed in mail parcels intercepted Thursday
at a post office in the southern city of Karachi, the English-language
newspaper Dawn said.

The report said the consignment was booked by a man named Aijaz
Ahmed in the capital Islamabad, bound for Beijing where it was to be
delivered to a Chinese national identified as Zuo Jianhui.
