Travel agents in Gujarat fear that they may see a decline of 25-30 percent in business. Many voters in the state have postponed their vacation trips in order to cast their votes.

Considering the upcoming elections, tourists from Gujarat are afraid of travelling to troubled regions like Jammu and Kashmir.

The booking amount ranges between Rs. 2,850 and Rs. 4,110.

While the base model of the car `Tata Nano Std' is priced at Rs. 95, 000, the other variants `Tata Nano CX' and `Tata Nano LX' are available at Rs. 1,20,000 and Rs. 1,40,000 respectively. Customers can either pay the entire booking amount themselves or seek financing of the booking amount.

A large number of people visited the Tata Motors showroom to enquire about the bookings of the car.

Metropolitan Magistrate G M Patel extended their police custody after the Special Investigation Team (SIT), appointed by the Supreme Court to probe some of the riot cases afresh, asked for further remand.
