PML-N ready with ‘plan A, B, C’ to thwart Zardari’s designs to disrupt long march
Lahore, Mar. 14 : The Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) has put in place several plans to avoid arrests of its leaders, and foil any attempt by the government to clamp down on the protest march participants.
According to sources, the party leaders held a meeting at an undisclosed location to discuss its strategy and future course of action, and to thwart the highhandedness of the Zardari administration.
"The participants put forward various suggestions to put up a gigantic show on March 16th and sit-in at Shahra-e-Dastur in Islamabad. Discussions were held on `plan A, plan B and plan C' to be employed in accordance with the situation," The Nation quoted a party worker, as saying.
In the meeting it was decided that the MNA's and MPA's would organize the party workers and prepare them mentally and physically to deal with any tough situation which they may face during the march.
It was finalized that the party workers led by Provincial and National Assemblies members would gather at GPO Chowk in Lahore on Sunday, March 15, to set out for the long march.
After the meeting concluded, the PML-Q Punjab, forward bloc, leader Naghma Mushtaq called the PML-N president, Shahbaz Sharif to share the decisions taken during the meeting. (ANI)
