IPL will suffer due to absence of Pak players: Younus KhanLahore, Apr 15 : Pakistan captain Younus Khan has said that the Indian Premier League will suffer due to the absence of players from his country.

The Pakistan Government banned its players from participating in the IPL after political relations with India deteriorated in the wake of the Mumbai terror attacks, which New Delhi blamed on militants based across the border.

"For me, Younus will be our key man. He is such a positive man, a true leader who has injected a much-needed team spirit among the boys," Alam said referring to Khan's forecast of a five-nil Australian white wash in the series.

Talking to reporters at the Gaddafi Stadium here, Khan, while replying to a question said: "No doubt be 5-0, but in favour of Pakistan."

He admitted that Pakistan has not played much international cricket in recent times, and it could affect its performance in the series.

Khan, however, said his team was capable of handing out surprises.
